About me
Hi! My name's Shaun, although you may know me as Openmind. I'm an illustrative tattoo artist with over 10 years experience, specialising in all things fantasy, folklore and ornamental.
In 2025, I am looking to fill the diary with flash, large scale and freehand projects!
I have a passion for detail-oriented, heavy-contrast tattooing that harmonises with the shapes of the body. I believe that tattoos are meant to be appreciated from both up close and far away and feel that contrast, ornamental principles and sometimes, even pops of a single colour palette make that possible.
Although I often work on back pieces, sleeves and body suits, no job is too small. Send over a request with your ideas and a clear image of the area you'd like covered and I'll be more than happy to assist!
