Appointments: offer multiple date options

Offering appointments just got even better! You can now offer a selection of date and time options to your client for them to choose from, cutting down on that back and forth even more 🎉

How does it work?

Much the same as offering a single date and time previously. But now you can offer as many different date and time options as you like to give your client the choice to choose from.

Let's say a client requested a Tuesday appointment from June onwards. You could offer the client your next four available Tuesdays and let them choose which one suits them best.

We've also changed the duration field to a start and end time picker. So you can now be specific when selecting a time rather than entering a duration in hours 🙌

Can I send the same date and time option to multiple clients?

Here's the best bit, no double bookings! You can offer the same date and time option to as many different clients as you like and as soon as that date is confirmed by one client it can't be confirmed by another.

The already booked date and time option becomes unavailable for all other clients. This guarantees you don't double book and keeps those appointments from clashing 💪

What if a client can't do any of the offered date and time options?

It might be that you've offered a particular client multiple date and time options but these have now been booked by other clients - no problem.

Or the client might be not be available on the dates you have offered - no problem either.

A client can request new date and time options, declining the current appointment offer. The process is the same as it was prior to the new multiple dates feature. The appointment will drop back into your dashboard to offer some more date and time options.

Do I have to send multiple date and time options?

Nope! It is completely optional. You can make that decision on a per appointment basis, or not at all.

Want to continue offering a single date and time option? That is absolutely fine.

Why can't I just let clients see my calendar and let them choose?

So we get that everybody works differently. Some artists want to be in complete control of their diaries whilst others might want their clients to see their entire calendar availability.

We're very much in the corner that you as artists should be in control of your own diaries and we feel that this latest update gives you the best of both worlds.

You can offer as many different date and time options as you like allowing your clients to see just some of your availability without going wild. You can pick and choose per client and appointment how much availability you want to share by the number of date and times you offer.

Want to offer every date in July and August? Go ahead. Want to offer just three Saturdays in May? You can do that too. Only want to offer a specific date and time as it suits you the most? Of course that is possible.
